Spiritual Wealth and Financial Abundance for Coaches and Healers: Five Conversations on Where Wealth Begins

What is spiritual wealth, and how does it shape the financial abundance you build as a coach or healer?

If you know your gifts are real and your income has not yet caught up with them, this article offers a different place to begin than the usual advice about funnels and pricing. It looks at what spiritual wealth means, what the numbers say about women's businesses and revenue, and how five conversations with four guests will approach the question of where abundant money begins in a woman's life. Today, Friday, October 30, I host that event, and you can watch the live on YouTube beginning at 10:00 AM PT.

What spiritual wealth means for a coach or healer

Spiritual wealth is the beginning of all the good that shows up in your life, and it starts with things that cost nothing: pleasure, sensuality, creativity and personal power. Each of these is available to you before any money arrives, and each of them shapes the money that follows. When a woman cuts herself off from her personal power, her pricing, her packages and her visibility carry less of her true essence, and her revenue reflects that disconnect.

Money is the outward picture of what is already moving inside you. For a coach or healer, the picture includes what you allow yourself to enjoy, what you value enough to charge for, and what you are willing to claim as yours. If any of those is constrained, the business tends to take on the same shape, whatever its marketing looks like.

This is the reason I invite you to stop treating income as a verdict on your worth. Your income describes the current state of the relationship between your gifts and the structure that carries them to the people who need them. Both parts of that relationship can change.

Money is the outward picture of what is already moving inside you.

What the numbers say about women's businesses and revenue

The question of how women's work translates into revenue has been measured. In 2015, the Pew Research Center published an analysis of Census Bureau data from the 2012 Survey of Business Owners. You can read the Pew Research Center analysis of Census Bureau data on women-owned firms and revenue. Women owned more than 9.9 million of the 27.6 million firms in the country, or about 36 percent. Among the roughly 27.5 million firms that could be classified by gender, race or ethnicity, women-owned businesses took in $1.6 trillion of $14.3 trillion in total receipts, which is 11.3 percent.

The gap appeared in fields that many coaches and healers know well. In health care and social assistance, 64.5 percent of classifiable firms were women-owned, and they received 19.9 percent of the industry's revenue. In educational services, 56.9 percent of firms were women-owned, and they received 28.1 percent of revenue.

These figures are more than a decade old, and they were preliminary when Pew reported them, so they describe a pattern and cannot describe the present moment. They also do not explain the cause, and I would not offer a single explanation for them. They do show that a woman can be present in a field in large numbers and still receive a smaller share of its revenue, which matches what many of you have experienced personally. The day's conversations ask where that difference begins.

    Five conversations, four guests

I am hosting five gut-level conversations with Penelope Jane Smith, Monique Alvarez, Jennifer Sifert and Dr. Stephanie Anne Wilson. Each guest brings a distinct philosophy, and the planned running order gives each one a principle to explore.

Penelope Jane Smith is a financial freedom mentor for women entrepreneurs, an international speaker and certified trainer with more than 20 years of teaching experience, the author of The Little Book of Prosperity and the creator of Prosperity Coin. Her conversation is planned around the pleasure principle, which asks what we truly value. You can explore her work through The Financial Freedom Formula.

Monique Alvarez is the founder and CEO of AMA Publishing, a USA Today bestselling author and a 22-time international bestselling author whose work has been featured in Forbes, Inc., Success and HuffPost. Her conversation is planned around the expansion principle, which asks what makes abundant wealth possible. Connect with her community inside The Rich Mixer.

Jennifer Sifert is a Leadership Mentor, Energy Strategist and Shaman and the creator of Finding the Source and Life Force Activation, two systems that help visionary leaders and conscious entrepreneurs release old conditioning, stop hiding and realign with their soul mission. Her conversation is planned around the gold beneath the surface, the hidden source of financial power. Experience her live practice studio with Life Force Activation.

Dr. Stephanie Anne Wilson holds a PhD in Business and is the founder of She's In Business, which has supported more than 14,000 female entrepreneurs in over 85 countries through fully funded, accredited business training. Her conversation is planned around the mastery principle, which asks how power turns into lasting wealth. Plan your next 90 days with her 90-Day Business Planner.

The day opens with the question of what spiritual wealth is and where it begins, and it closes by asking each viewer where her own wealth begins. If you would like to hear one of these guests before the event, I recorded an earlier live on the spiritual laws of wealth for women entrepreneurs with Monique Alvarez.

Why the inner source comes before the marketing system

Financial abundance for coaches and healers is an inner alignment matter before it is a marketing systems matter, and the order is practical as well as spiritual. A price carries your belief about what your work is worth. A package carries your belief about how much you can responsibly give. A post, a page or an invitation carries your willingness to be seen. Each of these is a business asset, and each is shaped by what you have allowed yourself to claim.

When those beliefs are constrained, tactics tend to disappoint. A better funnel placed on top of a price you do not believe in will convert hesitantly, and a sharper headline will not change how you feel when someone asks what you charge. When the inner source is clear, the same tactics work with more force, because the person delivering them is no longer working against herself.

This is how a woman comes to generate the money she wants and to be sought after by the clients she is meant to serve. She begins with what she values, expands what she allows, claims the power she has been holding back, and then builds with proven structure. The five conversations follow that same sequence, and you can follow along with your own business as the example.

How to bring the day into your business

You will gain the most from a long event if you decide in advance how you will use it. Before the live begins, answer four questions in writing, one for each principle on the schedule.

Pleasure: what do you enjoy in your work, and how often does your schedule make room for it? Expansion: what would you offer or charge if you believed more were possible? Hidden power: where in your business do you hide, and what would change if you stopped? Mastery: which single structure, such as an offer, a page or a follow-up system, would turn your skill into steady income?

Your answers give you a reference point. As each conversation unfolds, you can listen for the ideas that respond to your own answers and set aside the ones that do not. After the event, choose one action for each principle and put it on your calendar with a date, so that the day's insight becomes something you have done.

Wealth conversations tend to bring up beliefs we have held for decades. When you notice one, treat it as information about where your attention is needed, and take your time with it.

Three questions coaches and healers ask about spiritual wealth

    What is spiritual wealth?

In the framing of this event, spiritual wealth is the inner source of financial abundance. It includes pleasure, sensuality, creativity and personal power, all of which are available to you before the money arrives, and it shapes the money that follows.

Does inner alignment replace business systems?

Inner alignment and business architecture work together. A woman who values what she gives, believes in her capacity for more, claims her hidden power and builds with proven systems creates an offer that the right clients can recognize. The conversations on the schedule look at both sides.

Who is this event for, and how long does it run?

It is for coaches, healers and spiritual entrepreneurs, especially women in midlife with decades of wisdom and an income that has not caught up. It begins at 10:00 AM PT and is scheduled to run until 3:00 PM PT. Replays are available if you cannot attend live.
